I'll do it later!

How often do you say those four words after you think about calling someone? I know your intentions are good when you make that statement. You honestly believe you'll make the call when you have more time. However, it's important to remember...later never turns into now, but it can become too late. Nobody has a guarantee they will be around to take your call tomorrow.

For the next 30 days, I encourage you to develop a "Do It Now" habit when you have a thought to connect with a family member, friend, co-worker or client. I know it's not possible to always stop what you're doing and pick up the phone, but most of the time the inspiration to call someone is silenced by an urgent, unimportant activity.

The people in your world want and deserve to feel like a priority to you, not just an option on your 'to do' list. Making time for a short, unplanned call...even if you just leave them a message...lets that person know they matter.

Nothing you or I will ever do is more important than letting the people we love know how much we care about them during our day.

Who would enjoy a call from you today? Don't wait. Do it now.
